South Central Railway (SCR) has released notification for eligible sports persons in the relevant fields in prescribed format to recruit Group 'C' posts for filling up 21 Vacancies against sports quota through open advertisement for the year 2016 -17. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 17-10-2016.

Age Limit:- 18 - 25 years as on 01-01-2017
Pay Scale:- Rs. 5200 - 20,200 in Grade pay of 2000/1900
Qualification:- Minimum pass in 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for the post of Technician,Grade-III in Grade pay Rs. 1900/-.For Other categories in grade pay Rs. 2000/1900 is 12th (+2 Stage) or intermediate or equivalent examination.
Application Fee:-
- A Non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- (For General / OBC) should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad.
- The Candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities, Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes (Family income is less than Rs. 50,000/- per annum) are exempted from the payment of fees.
How to Apply:-
- Interested/ Eligible candidates can apply on good quality A-4 size paper in prescribed format either in english or hindi.
- Superscribe the envelope with (i) Recruitment against Sports quota for the year 2016-17 on South Central Railway, (ii) Game: _____ (Name of the sports discipline).
- Candidates need to enclose self-attested copies of certificates in proof of age,DOB,caste,educational qualifications,sports achievements along with 2 recent passport size photogragh and copy of postal order/demand draft,income certificate (if applicable) with duly filled application form should be sent by Post (business / registered) and addressed to The Assistant Personnel Officer (Rectt. & HQ), Room No. 416, Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, 4th Floor, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad - 500 071 (Telangana).
Selection Process:- Written Examination,Trials & Interview.
Notes:-
- No TA/DA, Accommodation will be provided while appearing in the selection/ trials/ interviews.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free train travelling authority in second class when called for trials/interviews.
- Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Central Railway.
- Application without self attested photo or without required attested documents will be rejected.
- Application fee once paid is non-refundable.
- Applications also without application fees or without translated copies of certificates will be rejected.
