Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has released the notification for the recruitment of Technical Staff and Operatives in various trades in skilled and semi skilled grades for appointment on contract basis. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 9 February 2017.

Pay Scale:- Rs.7500/- per month
Qualification:- Candidates should have completed SSC/ HSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Structural Fitter, Fabricator or Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker, Fitter, Millwright Mechanic, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance or in relevant trade.

Vacancies:- 15
Age Limit:- 18 to 33 years
Pay Scale:- Rs.7250/- per month
Qualification:- SSC passed or its equivalent with Diploma in relevant field.
Post Name:- Semi Skilled Grade-I (IDA-2)
Vacancies:- 81
Age Limit:- 18 to 33 years
Pay Scale:- Rs.6000/- per month
Qualification:- SSC passed or its equivalent with Diploma in relevant field and NAC in any trade.
Application Fee:- Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category have to pay Rs.140/- (processing fee Rs.100 and bank charges Rs.40/-) through SBI Challan at any nearest Branch of SBI. All other candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.

- Interested candidates may apply in prescribed Application format.
- Candidates must attach self attested copies of certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience, caste certificate, defence discharge certificate and driving licence along with the application.
- Candidates should send their applications along MDLs Challan copy & all enclosures to the DGM (HR-Rec-NE), Recruitment Cell, Service Block- 3rd Floor, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010 on or before 9 February 2017 through courier or by post only.

Notes:-
- Selected candidates will be entitled to get Industrial DA, HRA, Transport Subsidy, CPF, Gratuity etc. as per rules of the Company.
- A separate application for each trade has to be submitted in case the applicant desires to apply for more than one post.
- The contract for all the above categories will be for a maximum period of two years.
- Candidates working in Govt Department should apply through proper channel.
- Any other mode of payment other than challan will not be considered.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
- Age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
